Festplatte unmounten, dann:
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdx bs=512 count=4 status=progress
Wobei /dev/sdx für das Device steht, z.B. /dev/sdc
Dann in gparted neue Partition anlegen
Festplatte komplett löschen:
sudo shred -vn 1 /dev/sdxx
xx steht für partition oder Laufwerk, also z.B. c oder c3
